West Brom 0-2 Liverpool Highlights Video

Liverpool carried on from the Carling Cup win against Stoke by comfortably dispatching West Brom 2-0 at the Hawthorns.

Liverpool who were without skipper Steven Gerrard who picked up an ankle injury went ahead in the 9th minute through Charlie Adam from the penalty spot after Luis Suarez was fouled. Just before half time Luis Suarez picked up Andy Carroll and the Liverpool number nine neatly finished despite a heavy first touch to make it 2-0 to the Reds.

Liverpool dominated the second half too largely due to the brilliance of Luis Suarez but couldn't extend the lead despite a few half chances, West Brom made changes but they hardly threatened Pepe Reina in the Liverpool goal who was a spectator for most of the game.

With the win Liverpool now climb to the fourth spot in the Premier League table just a point behind surprise package Newcastle United who have a game in hand.
