Smart Defender Outsmarts Striker CAF Champions League | Video

We’re all used to seeing footballers faking injuries, but not quite like this.

Nigerian side Enyemba are launching a counter-attack away to Morocco’s Wydad. A Wydad player charges back to defence complaining about an injury further up the field. The Enyemba player sportingly and stupidly puts the ball into touch, only for it to emerge that the supposed injury was entirely fictional.

And as a result, a wave of those Zrjinjski fans hopped the fence and chased the entire Velez team off the pitch. After that, the match was abandoned.

The game is the Mostar derby, with the teams sitting on either side of Croat and Muslim community divide.

Unconscious Player Dropped Off A Stretcher & Onto His Head Again | Video

What a poor, poor bastard!

19-year-old Olhanense striker Salvador Agra had a Sunday he’ll never forget; once he’s regained his facilities and re-watched the footage, that is.

Facing off against Uniao Leiria in the Portueguse top flight on Sunday, the young forward suffered a horrible injury when Leiria defender Edson clattered him with a knee to his temple in the 40th minute.

Scarily, Agra immediately hit the ground like a fallen stone after absorbing his head-crushing blow. It looked like a possible nightmare scenario could be on the cards, and several Leiria players tried to help the panicked situation by removing their tops and fanning the unconscious Agra.

Eventually, during a tense nine minute stoppage, the medical team brought on the stretcher as they sought to ferry Agra to hospital by ambulance. But amid all the concern and worry, the medics failed to work as a unit as they shipped Agra off the pitch.

That lead to a world class FAIL and the unfortunate teenager was horrifically dropped on his head for a second time in quick succession.

Happily, according to local reports Agra suffered NO brain and neck damage and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Ivan Perisic Splendid Volleyed Goal vs Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund's van Perisic climbed off the bench to smash in a superb late volley and rescue a deserved point for Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League Group F opener against Arsenal.

Robin van Persie looked to have earned the Gunners a precious win with a fine goal from Theo Walcott's through-ball.

But Perisic dipped a sublime 20-yard volley home to salvage a draw.

And only a fine Wojciech Szczesny save from Robert Lewandowski in injury time stopped Arsenal finishing with nothing.

Penalty Kick Fail, Absolute Fail, SHOCKER | Video

In an Egyptian Cup match on Tuesday, Amir Sayoud of Al Ahly seemed to stub his toe then trip comically before nudging the ball toward the Kima Aswan goal. No matter, Al Ahly won the game, 4-0. As the Guardian points out, Al Ahly’s Algerian midfielder was shown a yellow card for an illegal penalty kick. He probably should have been sent off for sheer stupidity.

Grimsby Town Boss Tells Fan “If You Don’t Like It, Don’t F**king Come” | Video

Grimsby manager Rob Scott had an argument with a section of fans after the 2-1 home defeat to Darlington.

Scott faced up to the Mariners' supporters after the game and took issue with a few of them who seemed to be imploring him to splash the cash on some new playing staff.

The audio isn’t the greatest, but it appears he says something along the lines of:

We ain’t got no fu**ing money.

“This is not ten years ago, we haven’t got any money, we’re doing the fu**ing best we can,” followed by the coup de grace: If you don’t like it, don’t fu**ing come.”

Rant over, Scott was applauded as he exited stage left with the help of some security guards. Can we expect something similar from Arsene Wenger in the near future, perhaps?

Stunning Own Goal During Derby Game | Video

When top Croatian side Hadjuk Split visited arch-rivals Lokomotiva at the weekend there was a lot at stake: the two sides are locked in a nail-biting four-way tussle for the Europa League spots, and three points at this stage of the season could be crucial.

So you would have thought that Hadjuk Split midfielder Goran Rubil would have been thrilled to open the scoring after just eight minutes with a stunning long-range strike that gave the goalkeeper no chance.

Unfortunately for Rubil, his thundering strike was scored at the wrong end as a moment of madness saw him misjudge a clearance so badly that he ended up producing the sort of bottom corner rocket that Lionel Messi would have been proud of.
