Mesut Ozil Donates World Cup Earnings To Gaza
Mesut Ozil has donated his entire $600,000 at the World Cup to the children of Gaza. The German midfielder who plays for Arsenal made the decision of donating his earnings after the catastrophic condition in Gaza due to Israeli air strikes.
Ozil plays for Germany but is of Turkish descent, he is known to recite Quran before games. However he opted not to fast this year during the World Cup. He also reportedly declined a handshake to a FIFA official because he supported Israel. The Algerian tea who reached the second round also donated their entire World Cup prize money to people of Gaza saying that they need more than we do.
