Raul Meireles Submitts Written Transfer Request
Liverpool have confirmed that midfielder Raul Meireles has submitted a written transfer request.
Meireles, 28, briefly worked with Villas-Boas at FC Porto last year before he left to join Liverpool in an £11.5million deal. Meireles has lost his place in Kenny Dalglish’s side but Liverpool would look to recoup what they paid for Meireles.
And now with 25 minutes remaining in the transfer deadline the midfielder has handed in a transfer request to force a move to Chelsea.
