Aisam, Bopanna reach Doubles Quarter Finals of US Open
Aisam-ul-Haq and Rohan Bopanna have reached the men’s doubles quarter-finals at US Open. The Paki-India duo beat Australian-Belgian pair of Paul Hanley and Dick Norman 6-2, 6-3.
The Indo-Pak duo is seeded fifth in the Doubles. It should also be noted that the pair finished as Runners-up in the last US open losing only to Bryan brothers of USA.
The pair will now face the unseeded pair of Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins of Great Britain who got a walkover from their match with Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez of Spain.
