Rawalpindi Rams were crowned Faysal Bank T20 Champions 2011 after a thrilling Super Over victory over Karachi Dolphins.
Batting first Karachi piled up 164 runs of the allotted 20 overs Rameez Raja Jnr's knock of 64 and a handy contribution of 36 each from Asad Shafiq and Khalid Latif.
Chasing 165 to win Rawalpindi Rams found themselves seven down on 130 runs, but cameo's from Muhammad Ramiz and Samiullah meant that the Rams needed 9 off the final over to be crowned Champions.
But then it all came down to the final delivery, Rawalpindi Rams needed one run for victory and they were nine down, meaning a wicket will take the match to the Super Over. Raza Hassan was the last man in and he was stumped on the last delivery taking the match to the Super Over.
Rams managed 16 runs of their super over that left Karachi with a target of 17 from 6 balls. Raza Hassan was given the ball and the 19-year old held his nerve and gave away just 7 runs and Rawalpindi were crowned Champions.
