Malik has been sidelined from Pakistan selection since summer 2010. Last time he played for Pakistan was way back in August 2010(Birmingham Test against England). He also hasn’t played any limited overs Cricket for Pakistan since July 2010. To keep himself busy as a Cricketer, he is in India these days and playing club cricket. He is eying a strong comeback in national team of Pakistan.
He told media that I have a good feeling of playing Cricket after such a long time, bowlers here were exceptionally well and its good to score against them, you don’t find such bowlers – in net practice - easily in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik’s wife, Sania Mirza, has left for Spain to participate in a tennis tournament.
