Shoaib Akhtar has said that he is surrounded by emptiness and sadness for calling it quits from international cricket. He added that for 20  years, he has fought to play cricket and now that he has decided to  leave something he loved; it hurts. He further added "I wish I would have played with Imran Khan then I would have been a different person."
