1. West Indies beat Kenya by 61 runs in Colombo(RPS). West Indies scored 253/8 in 50 overs, in reply to that Kenya were bowled out on 192 in 45.3 overs. Ramnaresh Sarwan scored 123of 125 balls.
2. Sri Lanka beat Netherlands by 156 runs at Colombo(SSC). Sri Lanka scored 351 in 50 overs, in reply to it Netherlands were bowled out on 195 in 47.3 overs. Four Srilankans(Samaraweera, Dilshan, Kapugedera and Chamara Silva) scored 50s. Fernando took 4 wickets for SL.
3. South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in Chennai. Zimbabwe were bowled out on 152 and RSA chased it in 24th over with 8 wickets in hand. ImranTahir, who is yet to make international debut, took 3 wickets for 35 runs in 8.5 overs.
4. Bangladesh beat Canada by 9 wickets at Chittagong. Canada were bowled out on 112 and Bangladesh chased it in 20th over with 9 wickets in hand. Tamim Iqbal scored 69 from 50 balls.
5. New Zealand beat Ireland by 32 runs at Nagpur. New Zealand scored 311/6 in 50 overs, in reply to it Ireland were bowled out on 279 in 49th over. Martin Guptill scored 130 for New Zealand. It was quite a performance by Ireland being a minnow, at one stage stage it looked as if Ireland will chase the total, this team is capable of doing upsets in World Cup.
