Butt and Asif to face life ban, 5-year ban for Aamir: The Sun & some other unconfirmed reports
The hearing of Pakistan's trio is all set to take place on 5th February at Doha. The charges are related to Lord's Test whereas Salman Butt is still under scanner for Oval Test too.
May "News Sources" including The Sun(which is sister product of News of the World) have said that Salman Butt and Asif will be banned for life whereas Aamir will be banned for 5 years. However, these reports cant be confirmed and official decision will be announced on 5th February.
The trio will have to wait until February 5 to discover the eventual result of the spot-fixing charges laid on them by the ICC. The tribunal will hear charges against Butt, Amir and Asif brought under the ICC's code in relation to two Tests(Oval Test and Lord's Test played in 2010).
