Gareth Bale Wages | Real Madrid Salary

Real Madrid's Welsh wizard Gareth Bale takes homes wages of around £300,000 every week. This accounts to a monthly salary of £1.2 million or an annual salary of a staggering £14.4 million.

The bumper salary will make Bale one of the world’s richest players with massive sponsorship deals bound to flood in for the wing-wizard. For a perspective; Bale's weekly wages equate to double the yearly salary of British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Mourinho Kicks Cesc Fabregas Super Cup| Video

Jose Mourinho is already in trouble for pinching the ear of a Barcelona assistant, but did José Mourinho also kick out at new boy Cesc Fabregas in the heat of battle on Wednesday night?

After Marcelo’s awful tackle on Cesc Fabregas, Mourinho is seen to walk rather intently in the direction of the prone former Arsenal man and although a number of players obscure the view, judging by his momentum and the backlift of his right foot, the footage would seem to suggest that the Special One aimed a kick at him while he was on the ground. In the whole brawl David Villa also slapped Mesut Ozil and allegedly insulted "Islam".

David Villa Insulted Islam says Mesut Ozil

According to [Football.Fr] Real Madrid player Mesut Ozil was quoted, “I did this because I was defending my religion because David Villa insulted Islam.” refering to his actions against Villa at the closing minutes brawl at the Super Cup. Jose Mourhnio also allegedly kicked at Cesc Fabregas.

It appeared in TV video clips that David Villa hit Mesut Ozil first and the German international retaliated. The brawl was the reaction when Cesc Fabregas was tackled helplessly by Marcelo right at the closing minutes of the game as both bench emptied. Video here.

But Villa making offensive comments towards Islam isn't likely since his teammates Abidal, Keita and Afellay who are muslims and they play on the same team Barcelona.

Mesut Ozil and David Villa were slapped with red cards in an altercation between the two during the closing stages of last night’s Spanish Supercup between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona went on to win the Spanish Super Cup 3-2 riding the heroics of Lionel Messi two goals.

Villa and Ozil action is subject to either one-game or three-game ban from Supercopa. The league will serve any suspensions handed most likely a year from now. If Villa made such unnecessary comment, it is unfortunate for the sports in general like football/soccer which is enjoyed by people worldwide regardless of race or religion.

Liverpool 'Perfect" for Gago says Agent

Fernando Gago's agent claims Liverpool would be "a perfect club" for the Real Madrid midfielder to continue his career after being told that he is surplus to requirements.

The midfielder, 25, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and both Liverpool and Aston Villa have been credited with an interest in recent weeks.
"Gago needs to play and Liverpool would be a perfect club for him," his agent Marcelo Lombilla is quoted by the Daily Star.

"Fernando wants to get back on the pitch and return to the top level and at the moment that is not possible in Madrid."

Lombilla added: "Last year when we were about to sign with Manchester City, it was Mourinho who demanded that Gago will not go.

"Then he had a series of injuries that prevented him from playing for most of the season and now we have come to this situation."

Real are believed to be demanding £15 million for the Argentina international but with Gago looking to leave a cut-price £10 million deal could be agreed.
