Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United Highlights

Posted by Admin Saturday, November 19

Man City 3-1 Newcastle Video Highlights: Manchester City will take on Newcastle United in the clash of first against third in the Premier League. Newcastle despite being third in the table will go as underdogs, it's been 11 years since they last won at Manchester City add to that City look unbeatable at the moment.

So on paper City could make it ten wins on the spin in all competitions but there is a slight concern. City have scored seventy percent of their goals in the second half of games when teams are tired and City could use their bench strength to bring on impact players. But over the international break 16 of City's first team players were away on international duties while hardly any of the Newcastle players had international commitments.

If City are carrying any weary passengers Newcastle may cause a surprise and leave with a point or better three points.

Team News:
Manchester City forwars Sergio Aguero has been declared fit to play after a groin strain but midfielder Samir Nasir is out for a couple of weeks.

Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote is still sidelined and so is Sylvain Marveaux, Leon Best and Gabriel Obertan are both doubtful.

Davide Santon Set For Newcastle United Move

Posted by Admin Monday, August 29
Newcastle United have agreed a £5million deal with Inter Milan for highly rated Italian international full-back Davide Santon.

Manager Alan Pardew has turned to the 20-year-old Italy international after hitting a snag in negotiations over PSV Eindhoven defender Erik Pieters.

Santon is an attack minded full back whose pace and energy has frightened teams in Serie A. The player has been highly thought of in Italy and has been with the club since he was 14 and former Italy head coach Marcello Lippi even called him a young “Paolo Maldini” as little as two years ago. Santon already has two Serie A titles, a Champions League and Coppa Italia trophy on his CV.
