Hitzlsperger Avoids Driving Ban Because He Is Unemployed

Don’t ever think that footballers have it all easy. When Thomas Hitzlsperger was caught travelling at over 100mph in a 70mph zone in Suffolk, he must had many sleepless nights. Hitzlsperger was allowed to leave by West Ham at the end of last season you see, and therefore is unemployed. How would be able to afford expensive public transport, taxis or a chauffeur?

Thankfully for the German international, the English justice system saw sense and refused to give him the usual driving ban, and instead took his unemployment into consideration in just handing him a £750 fine.

Even better for Thomas is the news that he will be expecting a move to a Premier League club and will almost certainly earn more than £20,000 per week.
