[Tour Diary, 21st Feb]: Pakistan team to reach Hambantota today via helicopter.

Management to reduce players' traveling fatigue by using helicopters

Yesterday, Pakistan reached Colombo from Dhaka and now expected to reach Hambantota today via helicopter. The management has decided to use helicopter to minimize the traveling fatigue. The distance from Colombo to Hambantota, which is in south of Sri Lanka, by road is nearly 9 hours so to avoid travel-fatigue teams can use helicopter. Pakistan team didn't have any practice session on Sunday as they reached Colombo in evening. Abdul Razzak who was ill before is now reported to be fit.

It is to be noted that Hambanota is a planned city and its still under-construction. Sea-port and an airport is also under construction that's why teams will fly to Hambantota by helicopters. The Mattala International Airport is an international airport currently under construction in Hambantoa district which will serve as second international airport in Sri Lanka. The city was hit by Tsunami in 2004 and currently under-development, this city is also one of nominations for Commonwealth games 2018 along with Gold Coast.
